As a Principal Product Manager at SAP LeanIX, you will own the product domain for our data governance and data cataloging capabilities. You will work closely with our engineering, UX, and product marketing teams to deliver solutions that integrate seamlessly with SAP’s data management portfolio (e.g., SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Data sphere). With your strategic vision and customer-focused mindset, you will shape and refine our software, ensuring it continues to lead in enabling data visibility and governance.Your team is dedicated to building critical data capabilities that empower customers to manage their enterprise architecture and business transformation effectively. Own the domain of SAP LeanIX’s data capabilities, focusing on integrating with SAP’s data management portfolio. Partner with engineering and UX to design and deliver intuitive, scalable, and reliable solutions that meet customer needs and align with SAP’s strategy. Define and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment with customer pain points and business objectives. Work closely with product marketing to understand the competitive landscape, analyze market opportunities, and influence product positioning and commercialization strategies. Post-launch, monitor adoption and usage telemetry to identify opportunities for optimization and rapid product improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless user onboarding, technical enablement, and supportability of the product. Engage directly with customers to understand challenges, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 7 years in Product Management, ideally with Product Manager responsibilities in SAP’s Data and Analytics portfolio. Proven knowledge of SAP’s data strategy and experience with SAP data management solutions, including SAP Data sphere and SAP BW. A track record of developing extensions for standard software, particularly SAP systems. Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with UX design, customer success, and sales teams in a SaaS environment. Hands-on, agile mindset with the ability to build capabilities from scratch. Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable value to customers, aligning features with business transformation needs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in Business English.
