Make an impact Multiple positions: We are looking for engaged and driven individuals to take on the role of Asset Manager, generating and developing service strategies to exceed Customer expectations. This position will play a key role in the development of asset management and reliability engineering within Swisslog by enabling the translation between Customer Assets, operations performance and into actionable and service strategies. You will have internal as well as external customer facing management consultancy to enable the delivery of our total solution for Life Cycle Service proposition. You will part of a global team of Asset Managers and be part of our Customer Service Excellence function. We have several open positions within Asset Management and the role will have a defined focus related to the Swisslog product family, such as: - Pallet technologies (conveyors, storage cranes and shuttles/satellites). - Light goods products (conveyors, storage cranes and shuttles). - Controls (automated warehouse for the assets). - Software and IT (warehouse software). This function is recently established at Swisslog and brings the opportunity to share the future and character of the role moving forward. Location is flexible across main Swisslog locations. Willingness to travel is important as this person will travel to both customers and for internal global meetings and workshop.
1. You will support the Regional Customer Service departments in the development and delivery of the Swisslog Asset Mgmt. Service strategy.
2. Collaborate very closely with Product Managers to ensure PLM strategies translate into actionable activities for the Customer Service organization on a global level.
3. Develop life cycle plans related to the installed base of our Customers, enabling a proactive evaluation of the investment needs to retain system performance and maintainability.
4. Provide feedback and set requirements to the Development and Technology Teams and throughout the R&D process on areas where product development can enhance the asset performance and/or design changes can improve the maintainability of an asset.
5. Setting standards for service activities and developing initiatives to improve the global way of working for planning, design, implementation, and review of asset management activities.
6. Utilize knowledge of different maintenance strategies to configure service solutions based on the Customer’s needs.
7. Define, develop and implement the service proposition related to Asset mgmt principles.
8. Support the Service Development Dept. in the design of new service concepts, embedding enabling technology.
9. Standardize the service offering and service delivery across the business and align Global best practices for establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of an asset management system.
