including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany.
Hauptaufgaben
In a staff capacity at a Civilian Support Group engaged in signal construction and support activities throughout the EUCOM Theater of Operations,
incumbent acts as subject matter expert in all matters pertaining to the training and operations aspects of the unit andsubordinate elements.
Supports the higher-level supervisor and represents in case of his/her absence.
Performance of duties requires extensive experience and thorough knowledge in both, training and operations.
Supports and represents the supervisor on all matters pertaining to the operations of the Civilian Support Group and subordinate elements (e.g.; group operations and activities, unit readiness, emergency planning, field exercise support, security matters, manpower utilization, equipment and material utilization and standardization, communications requirements, risk management, etc.) and the training of all personnel within the area of responsibility.
Studies regulations, directives, orders, and instructions from higher level to determine applicability;
interprets new guidance and criteria for the staff and supervisors of the subordinate elements.
Individually provides staff guidance tosubordinate elements in the planning, conduct and evaluation of individual operations,
project implementations, and in the planning, programming, coordination and conduct of training and training needs.
Maintains continuous liaison to the S3, 2d Signal Brigade and German and U.S. authorities to coordinate operations and training matters,
obtain concurrence on proposed activities, and to coordinate inspections.
Within the authority delegated, directs the correction of fdiscrepancies; prepares associated reports referring the intricate and policy affecting issues to superiors for discussion.
Represents thesupervisor on all matters pertaining to the functions assigned in meetings and conferences at all levels within the command chain.
Provides guidance to an Operations and Training Assistant engaged in the unit operations, coordination and preparation of work orders, personnel and equipment deployment logs,
reports and statistics, development of training plans, coordination of training activities, and performing administrative and clerical duties, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.

E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 4 years of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees,
who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation,
must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 4 years of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III: 3 years of creditable experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level IV: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level V: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in B below.
Current employees,
who have served one year in the same or similar occupation,
are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A:
Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping,
making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B:
Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered.
The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position.
The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled.
The amount of the higher level experience must be in a reasonable relation to the required total number of years.
• Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level B2 required,
AND
German Language Proficiency level C1 required.

This is 1x permanent, full-time (38.5 Std./Week) position.
• The incumbent of this position is occasionally required to perform TDY (Temporary Duty Travel) within Germany.
• Telework:
Employee may perform the work at a location away from the regular worksite (e.g. at home) on a non-routine, ad-hoc basis.
This includes work performed to complete a short-term special assignment or to accommodate special circumstances.
