This person will work closely with colleagues around the world and be responsible for creating the strategy and execution for driving the sale of Qualcomm products into Industrial and IOT accounts in the Region market. Responsibilities The successful candidate will build and manage relationships at all levels for the Region Channel partners. He or she will interface with Go to Market planning, segment leadership, marketing, sales, and operation teams to promote and sell IoT and Industrial products. This role requires Region market & distribution knowledge and strong region network within the industrial and IOT customers to drive region assortment and volume. Key responsibilities include introducing and enabling the and selling Qualcomm's Industrial and IOT portfolio of products through partners. Skills/Experience The Distribution Sales Manager will have had extensive experience in developing relationships at regional industrial and IOT customers together with channel partner network. She or he will have managed sales targets and goals. The understanding of technically complex products and experience on how to position these to a broad audience are critical. - Masters degree in Electrical engineering - 5 years of sales, product management or business development of complex technology products in IoT and Industrial businesses with knowledge of key dynamics of distribution sales processes & market segments - Distribution account management expertise, the ability to manage change and the desire to operate effectively across organizations and customers - Ability to manage sales support teams inside Distribution partners - Strong understanding of how Commercial Distribution partners operate and sell - Ability to identify strategic opportunities and proactively engage in pre-sales activity - Develop and execute Sales, Marketing and Enablement GTM plans at key Distribution in your Region - Drive to meet and exceed Sales targets and help manage reporting Sales Out from each distribution partner - Help develop and plan Marketing Campaigns with support from Region Marketing teams - Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience in processing and connectivity solutions including being first line of defense for technical and product issues - Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally and externally - Very strong interpersonal, communication and fluent negotiation skills in English and German with ability to work in an international multi-cultural context - Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills - Self-motivated and result-driven References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only.
