Description and Requirements
Lenovo is the Number 1 Supercomputing provider in the world measured by Top 500 entries. Our Global HPC Professional Services team is looking for a seasoned Principal Consultant preferably based in India to join its Global HPC Professional Services team.
What You will do:
1. Decipher complex RFP requirements related to HPC infrastructure and help HPC architects design a solution that fits within RFP requirements.
2. Lead technical project teams in the delivery of consulting service offerings.
3. Collaborate with sales and critical engineering subject matter experts to determine the solution scope and projected costs.
4. Provide HPC solution guidance over a wide range of HPC delivery projects.
5. Effectively project manage vendors contracted to provide separate pieces of the solution.
6. Drive and manage objectives, requirements gathering, and project tasks to ensure engagements are delivered successfully and on time.
7. Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the HPC infrastructure marketplace.
8. Train and mentor consultants and sales specialists in core solution areas.
What we expect from You:
1. Five or more years of experience working within the HPC sector.
2. Detailed understanding of data center and HPC solution delivery processes and architectures.
3. Proven ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders and ability to drive issues to closure.
4. Experience in providing effective leadership as a technical consultant in the HPC delivery subject matter area.
5. Develop training and knowledge base documentation for technical skills throughout career.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. English language required. Additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese would be an advantage.
2. Bachelor degree (within an engineering discipline).
