The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application Job Description Tri-axial micro-electromechanical (MEMS) gyroscopes have become core components in many automotive and consumer applications such as ESP, inertial navigation, virtual and augmented-reality glasses, hearables, and wearables. The topic of the PhD includes the systematic examination and description of yet-unknown behavior of performance parameters like offset, sensitivity, and noise in analytic modelling and simulation. Improvement of these parameters are essential for the next gyroscope generation. For your PhD, system simulation models and environment are available. Once some sensor phenomena are understood, sensor-internal compensation mechanisms shall be explored in a second step. We actively support you with our experts working intensively in this field and expect you to place your papers in high-ranking IEEE conferences and journals. The employment as a scientific researcher at Bosch is offered for a duration of 3 years. Qualifications Education: You have a master's degree with excellent grades in a suitable field such as Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Cybernetics or Mechatronics.
