Job Description Designs, develops and implements sales programs to meet the organization's business objectives | Plans, directs and coordinates the efforts of sales toward the accomplishment of objectives. MANAGEMENT CAREER BAND: Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources. As seniority increases, is also responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results primarily achieved through the work of others, often depending on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization where formal authority is not held. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management. MANAGER LEVEL E: Accountable for results of a team of professionals or support / operational staff. Exercises limited management authority; sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions. MANAGER SUB-LEVEL E1: Accountable for the results of a team of support / operations staff, including subordinate Supervisors. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other Managers. Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from Senior Manager. Coaches team members, completes employee performance evaluations and recommends pay actions.
