Instead, we say it’s up to you to make Carbmee one of the most reliable and bug-free softwares out there Here is what you get to accomplish that goal: Work on a modern technology stack with AWS and Google Cloud Identify and implement database requirements for new or existing components by working collaboratively with other teams Optimise database performance and efficiency by evaluating and recommending new database technologies Investigate performance issues and develop new workload strategies and testing methodologies Support users and developers by resolving data-related technical issues and troubleshooting queries by guiding them with best practices We lead with context and not control. No matter how experienced you are, be open-minded and hungry for knowledge Help fellow team members with your experience, work closely with our Head of Engineering and Engineering Leads and shape the product roadmap Join the Carbmee team in Berlin and get the unique opportunity to work with some of the biggest organizations in the world to help them reduce carbon emissions Your profile You have at least 4 years of professional experience in database administration, database performance engineering or a similar role You have hands-on experience in database performance testing and optimization, and data security Experience supporting applications on a SaaS Cloud Infrastructure solution Extensive knowledge of relational database systems such as PostgreSQL Ideally, you have experience in cloud database services, like Amazon RDS or Google BigQuery You are exceptionally detail-oriented and passionate about your work You rely on solid communication skills and you speak English at a fluent level You are a supportive team player with a strong work ethic, eager to learn and work independently as well as in a team environment It’s totally fine if you are not perfect at everything.
