The Position Join Boehringer Ingelheim as an IT Business Consultant with focus on IT project management and lead the digital transformation of our laboratories Drive innovation by integrating lab instruments with various software systems, ensuring data management, compliance, and the seamless operation of our software solutions. This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach. This position is part time eligible with 80 %. Tasks & responsibilities - In your new role you will lead projects to integrate laboratory instruments with diverse software systems, enhancing lab efficiency and data accuracy. - Furthermore, you will oversee the management, long-term storage, and archiving of lab data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - You will manage evaluation, rollout, and development projects for COTS software or external custom development. - Moreover, you will ensure the secure and efficient operation of software solutions, addressing any issues promptly. - You will negotiate contracts, including SLAs, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Requirements - Master's degree or bachelor's degree in IT, Bioinformatics, Medicinal Informatics or similar with several years of professional experience - Proven experience in managing complex IT projects, preferably in a laboratory or healthcare setting, using agile and classic methods - Experience in negotiating contracts and managing external vendors and service providers. - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and software architecture principles - Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry - Fluent in both English and German, with excellent communication skills Ready to contact us?
