The key focus of the role is to develop new business opportunities and offer initial technical support to customers for high power semiconductor devices: Liaise with staff in both China and UK factories to determine the product availability and prices Provide low level technical engineering support to the customer as is necessary to secure the business and deal with any after sales technical enquiry, Manage allocated customer accounts in cooperation with regional sales managers and customer services Report to Regional Sales Manager for Germany Help achieve yearly sales targets for defined product range or customer region as agreed with RSM and the Sales and Marketing director Help develop new accounts and raise company profile within new customers and application areas Job Requirements: Experience of working with people from a wide range of different cultures. Speak, write and listen fluently in both English and German 2 years minimum exposure to working for an engineering manufacturing company Background in sales/technical sales/sales engineer Experience working in semiconductor industry Able to demonstrate good sales techniques through value/quantity of sales achieved in previous 12 months. Able to demonstrate an above average track record in sales. Able to demonstrate effective marketing of products and the tangible benefits. Able to clearly demonstrate and evidence skills in attracting new business. Knowledge of power semiconductor devices Ability to complete international travel frequently. Located in Germany (can be based anywhere in Germany)
