Head of Sales

Who are we?
Founded in 1986, Tok Food is a leading supplier of authentic Turkish and East Mediterranean food and non-food products. As part of the Danish Nordex Food A/S, Tok Food delivers a wide range of consumer food products across Western Europe, connecting Middle Eastern cuisine with Western European tastes. Due to strong growth in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, we are looking for a Head of Sales who can further strengthen the current sales framework and develop a new, future-proof sales strategy for the Western Europe region.
We collaborate with both large retailers and specialized stores and aim to make the Mediterranean dining experience accessible to a wide audience.
What is your role?
In this role, you will be responsible for building a new Sales & Marketing strategy for Tok Food in Western Europe and building a new, future proof sales structure, with respect to the existing team. Together with the CEO, you will build a solid strategic plan, lead the sales team (both internal and field sales), build a marketing team and ensure that the organization is optimally prepared for the future. You will ensure that strategic goals are translated into concrete actions and measurable growth.
* Developing and implementing a new sales & marketing framework for the Western European market
* Leading, building and coaching the sales & marketing team (6 internal staff and 20 field staff) in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany
* Identifying new sales opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships
* Preparing periodic sales reports and reporting progress to the General Director
* Developing budgets, sales targets, and marketing activities in line with the company's strategy
Who are you?
* You have at least 5 years of experience in a role as Head of Sales / Sales Director / Sales Manager, preferably in the FMCG / Food Wholesale industry
* Experience in setting up sales teams in an international context
* Coaching leadership style
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into practical applications
* Fluent in English and good knowledge of German is required. If you also speak Dutch and/or Turkish, that would be a bonus.
