Job profile
Would you like to support the Federal Police's ICT service provider? With your expertise, you can help to optimize the IT of the Federal Police and thus ensure the work of our 54,000 colleagues.
As a requirements manager, you will be actively involved in setting up a central IT requirements management system. You will support the requisitioners and ensure quality at all levels. In particular, you will collect, analyze and model technical requirements from all areas of the Federal Police as well as data and business processes, support IT projects and help shape and develop work processes. You will also represent the interests of the Federal Police in inter-agency working groups and vis-Ã -vis third parties, such as service providers.
Requirements profile
* Completed (technical) university/bachelor's degree in computer science, communications engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering (focus on engineering science) or a comparable computer science-related or technical course of study
* Experience in demand and requirements management (e.g. IREB)
* Knowledge of project management (e.g. IPMA, GPM, Prince2)
* Basic IT knowledge in areas such as software development, programming concepts, product management
You are also a team player who will actively support us in overcoming exciting challenges in the future. You enjoy working independently, are persuasive and communicative.

Recruitment is generally intended as a tariff employee. Classification is in accordance with the provisions of the TV EntgO Bund and the personal requirements in pay group 11.
If the requirements (completed IT degree and/or relevant professional experience) are not met, the employee will be placed in a lower pay group.

Once the security check has been completed, if you have one of the above-mentioned degrees, you can be appointed as a civil servant from grade A 10. German or EU/EEA citizenship is required for appointment as a civil servant.
Already a civil servant? For a transfer to the federal civil service, you must not have reached the age of 50. For applicants in the higher administrative service, a position with the grade A 11 BBesO is available for the advertised post. Applicants from external authorities can therefore be considered up to grade A 11 BBesO.
