The Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® Europe, based in Munich, is the leading European school for training in Rolfing® Structural Integration. We educate international students to become Certified Rolfers® and offer a comprehensive continuing education programme. We are a small, dedicated team with a strong sense of purpose: to bring the holistic benefit of Rolfing to people across Europe.

About the role:
This is a rare opportunity to take on a meaningful leadership role in a field that brings together bodywork, health, and personal development. As Executive Director, you will take the lead in shaping the future of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® Europe – by working closely with our small, passionate team, our international faculty, and a wide community of professionals.
Your primary focus will be the sustainable growth, financial health, and continued success of the school. You will oversee all operational, strategic, and financial aspects of the institute, including budget planning, staff leadership, and programme development.
A key priority is the expansion of student recruitment and the visibility of the school throughout Europe. You will collaborate closely with the Board of the European Rolfing® Association, ensuring that the school’s development aligns with broader goals while maintaining a strong focus on the institute's independent growth and success.
You will also play a central role in shaping the institute’s future development and structures, ensuring its long-term viability.
Your key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all operational and strategic aspects of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® Europe.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrolment and raise the school’s profile Europe-wide.
* Oversee the school’s budget, financial planning, and ensure economic sustainability and growth.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the Munich-based team, including full personnel responsibility.
* Continuously develop and expand educational programmes.
* Support and further develop a high-quality international faculty.
* Ensure smooth administrative processes and a high-performing IT and organisational infrastructure.
* Work closely with the European Rolfing® Association, maintaining a strong, cooperative relationship while advancing the independent success of the school.
* Strengthen connections with related Rolfing® schools, faculty, professional organisations, and the broader healthcare and wellness community.
* Directly report to the Board of the European Rolfing® Association.
Who you are:
* Proven leadership experience, ideally in the management of educational institutions, adult education, or professional training programmes.
* Strong background in budget responsibility, financial planning, and organisational management.
* Passionate about education, with a strategic mindset and hands-on mentality.
* Experienced in team leadership and staff development, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with educational technologies, CRM systems, and digital marketing is an asset.
* Committed to driving student recruitment and increasing visibility of educational offerings.
* You value collaborative leadership and enjoy working closely with a small, committed team.
* You are drawn to the field of complementary and holistic health and bodywork.

* Part-time position (approx. 24 hours/week), starting between 1 September and 1 November 2025, based at our Munich office and training centre.

Our recruitment process:
You will participate in a multi-stage process involving the school leadership, office team, and board representatives. Following an initial online interview, two further interviews (one online, one in person) are planned. The in-person interview is expected to take place in Munich on 26 July 2025.
