Thesuccessful candidate should have an automation background with ahigh understanding of cell biology andwill beresponsible forpre- and post-sales support for theMolecular DevicesCell line development products andautomation. Thisproduct line includes hardware,software andreagents.
Otherresponsibilities will includedevelopingand nurturing reference customers, finding and attracting newaccounts,mentoringEuropean team members,supportingregional management projects as acontributor and leader ofsub-projects. The SalesSpecialist will work remotelyand cover the wholeof Germany andAustria.

* DirectTerritory Deliverables,achieve monthlyand annual Quota in designated territory, toidentify,qualify, develop, support and close sales of the Molecular Devicessystemportfolio
* Developand maintainaccurateTerritory & Account Plans while working witha high level ofindependency
* Develop,update, expand andmaintain to ahigh degree of accuracy and integrity, the prospect database(SalesForce.com) and existing customer list andmonitor salesgrowth.
* Monitorcompetitor’s activities, products, and potential new or improvedapplications or product extensions and the marketevolution.
Theessential requirements of the roleinclude:
* Educationalbackground in Life Sciences as Bachelor orhigher
* Profoundsales experience inAutomation andCell Biologywould be anadvantage as well as experience in managing customers insalesforce.com
* Highlymotivated,dedicated andwilling tolearn
* Excellentcommunication skills in German andEnglish
Travel,Motor VehicleRecord:
* Abilityto travel up to 50% with overnight withinterritory
* Musthave a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord
