To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced Head of Data (f/m/d) to expand and lead our data organization. Reporting to the CFO, you will drive value creation through data insights, web analytics, AI-powered personalization and customer-facing data products. You will manage a team of data professionals and collaborate with stakeholders across the company, particularly the CFO and CTO, to deliver impactful results.
Your responsibilities:
* The ideal candidate has been a Head of Data for 3+ years with 7+ years of work experience, looking to increase their responsibility and drive a company-critical data function.
* Build and lead a data team (data engineers, analytics engineers, analysts).
* Build a data lake and web tracking capabilities, enabling a data-lake-first 360° Customer Data Platform (CDP).
* Optimize customer journeys and enable AI-driven personalization.
* Define and track KPIs to track value creation, support financial planning, sales and operations
* Support customer service automation through the CDP.
* Create data analytics products for customers and partners.
* Establish data governance policies and ensure stakeholder alignment.
* Actively drive value creation through data-driven solutions.
Qualifikationen
* Experience with data sets spanning billions of rows, dbt, ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran), and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), ideally also orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
* Knowledge of web tracking tools (e.g., Snowplow) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
* Expertise in SQL, Python and ideally also Spark.
* A/B testing, personalization and experience with large language models is a plus.
* Hands-on problem solver.
* Strong commercial drive
* Proven leadership in managing data teams and aligning stakeholders.
