Purpose: The Logistics Management Analyst (LMA) is responsible for supply wholesale and retail reporting and data management for the Army Prepositioned Stocks 2 (APS-2). Responsible for Inventory Control and management of Government equipment. Provides asset visibility by unit and type; integrates/manages data and reports; and coordinates with the 405th AFSBn-Germany Accountable Officer to ensure property/equipment is in the proper state of readiness and available for re-issue to units.
Positions Reporting to this Function: Accountability Analysts and Production Control Clerks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
1. Performs research using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), receipt processing, inventory adjustments, equipment receipts from the Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) and create Material Release Orders (MROs).
2. Analyzes/tracks property, determines proper accountability and provides visibility of property by unit and type.
3. Analyzes data and perform causative research.
4. Validates and processes all inventory adjustment documentation.
5. Performs data entry and verification of monthly cyclic and sensitive inventories.
6. Manages reports for APS-2 supply in adjustments to configurations in GCSS-A.
7. Ships equipment from an active retrograde plan into a transit plan upon receipt of the authorized signed/stamped (DD Form 1348)
8. Acts as the primary communication link, integrates/manages sensitive data and reports.
9. Processes all receiving, shipping, and equipment issue documentation.
10. Provides supply/readiness data integrity and validates data entry in GCSS-A.
11. Coordinates with appropriate personnel to ensure property/equipment is in the proper state of accountability as determined by the Government for re-issue to the gaining unit or other entity as required.
12. Maintains all information at no less than 90% accuracy unless otherwise stipulated.
13. Generates all required supply related reports, charts, graphs, data calls.
14. Works in conjunction with other supply personnel to accomplish all required taskings or inventories.
15. Provides timely, accurate and relevant information to the Operations leadership and/or Government personnel as required.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
17. 7 years of recent specialized experience in logistics. Prior military supply experience (Army MOS: 92Y/920A or equivalent) is a plus.
18. 3+ years of leadership experience required.
19. Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent.
20. Must complete internal APS-2 GCSS-A training within 60 days of hire.
21. At least two years of GCSS-A experience, preferred.
22. Must have the ability to provide skilled analysis of data prepared and presented.
23. APS knowledge and experience, preferred.
24. Possess strong knowledge of MRO's, Hand Receipts, IARs and other Army Supply documentation.
25. Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
26. Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications.
27. Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills.
28. High School graduate or equivalent.
29. Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
30. Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).
31. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
32. Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.

34. The appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
Additional Requirements:
1) LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
35. Valid driver’s license is required.
36. Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent.
2) PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
37. Stooping, sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves-51+ with the assistance of another person, touching dexterity (hand and finger), carrying, clear seeing-general, close vision, color perception, clear speech, driving vehicle, moving objects.
38. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively up to a 48-hour work week.
39. Must be able to endure long hours (overtime as required).
3) WORK ENVIRONMENT:
40. Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, mainly sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
41. May be required to deploy on missions on short notice at the direction of the PMO.
