As VIE - Project Documentation&Training, you will work within the Project Documentation Management team, ensuring the quality and on-time delivery of the documentation and training deliverables to the Customer, having a key role in supporting the key milestones of the project.
Main Responsibilities:
* Single Point of Contact for Documentation and Communication tools (Project SharePoint etc), for Alstom internal and external stakeholders (Customer).
* With the guidance of the Project Management team, produce regular communications to project stakeholders (customer newsletter, suppliers newsletter, dashboards etc), pro-actively suggest improvemenets/ideas, pro-actively support the preparation of project events.
* With the guidance of the Project Documentation Manager (PrDM), have end-to-end responsibility for specific documentation workpackages/deliveries to the Customer. Responsibilities. include: track the status of the upcoming deliveries to the Customer, pro-actively check status with the document owners and cross-functional reviewers, support documents owners cleaning up and bringing the documents to a high level of quality, ensure consistency across documents and appendices, perform final formal review of the documents, update and maintain the Document tracker List, ensure that the final approved Versions of the documents are consistently released across all project databases and distributed to the relevant project stakeholders, promptly escalate delay risks to the PrDM.
* Development plan: be able to deputize for the Project Documentation Manager in key internal and Customer meetings.
* Support the Project Management team producing quarterly updates of Project Communications Plan, Project Documentation and Training Plan, ensure consistency with Alstom processes and best practices, ensure distribution to all project stakeholders.
* Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, documentation and communication templates etc.
