This position is partof the commercial sales team located in Europe and will be fullyremote responsible for the whole DACH region. AtAldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with theideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital newdiscoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Cell and GeneTherapy Sales Team, reporting to the Director of Sales, EMEAresponsible for identifying, developing, managing and retainingrevenue-generating opportunities for the organization through thestrategic and tactical sales and support of all product and servicelines.
In this role,you will have the opportunityto:
* Identify,prospect and close new business opportunities in biotech, pharma,academic and government organizations in the assigned territory,consistently meeting or exceeding, quarterly and yearly keyperformance metrics andgoals
* Manage opportunity andsales pipeline data in CRM system and utilize the CRM tool toroutinely provide accurate and up to date forecasts, deliveringvisibility to new revenue opportunities, projecting revenuerecognition for the quarter andyear
* Understand the clients’visions, strategies, and organizational structure and communicatetheir feedback to Product Management and Operations regarding newservice opportunities and updates to current products, service andprocesses that will improve the clientexperience
* Deliverpresentations to clients on our complete offering at the highestlevels within the clients'organization
* Developterritory and business development plans, adjusting salesstrategies and tactical execution plans in order to better generaterevenue growth in the assignedterritory
Theessential requirements of the jobinclude:
* Universitydegree in Biotechnology or Biology OR, in the absence of a degree,several years of client-facing sales experience in thecell and gene therapyindustry
* Broadtechnical understanding in the field of molecular and cell biology,with a clear understanding of biotherapeutics, including nucleicacids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vectortechnologies, CAR-T,etc.
* Demonstrated experiencein developing territory and business development plans which serveto expand the business and generate incremental revenue with newclients
* Ready and preparedto travel across the geographical area of responsibility to visitcurrent and potential customers, to USA for yearly meetings andtrainings whennecessary
* Fluent German andEnglish language skillsmandatory
