Purpose:
Enhance the Brand presence, consumer experience and profitability of the adidas by building a consumer centric operating framework for the global consumer experience community to work within.
This role is responsible for leading adidas to a world class consumer experience in all physical consumer touch points building globally relevant store concepts, Point of Sale solutions and Visual Merchandising excellence.
Set the appropriate strategy for store concept design, roll out and refresh and merchandise /asset presentation in all markets and channels.
Key Accountabilities:
* Develop and drive the global consumer experience strategy and ensure implementation of the same, working with the BU’s and markets
* Steer the enhancement of all consumer experience tools (Physical Concepts, POS, VM, Communication tools) working with Brand Design, BU’s and Markets to deliver world-class consumer experiences.
* Own store concept lifecycle planning, building methodology for Capital Expenditure, Brand refresh and Consumer journey mapping to ensure that physical representation of brand is on message, relevant and meets brand guidelines and Market needs.
* Manage the consumer journey through the adidas Brand by creating and delivering world class consumer solutions for deployment across all formats, channels and markets that excite and inspire consumers to engage with the adidas brand.
* Lead BU, Horizontal Function and Market stakeholders, to ensure global engagement with the Brand’s mindset of consumer engagement and satisfaction.
* Engage Markets and BU’s on a clear consumer-journey strategy that keeps the Adidas Brand in a market leadership position in the eyes of the end consumer
* Lead a two-way dialogue with markets and Brand to ensure the creation and delivery of cost effective consumer facing solutions
* Lead the visual merchandising of Brand adidas, from strategy to execution at POS (point of sale) across all channels, markets and formats
* Build globally relevant process frameworks across all markets and channels to drive cost efficient brand presence
* Act as a role model in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as the adidas Fair Play Code of Conduct and other internal policies
* Manage resources:
o Work, Liaise and coordinate with Peers and CTC functions
o Evaluate the competencies of his/her subordinates on a regular basis and provides prompt feedback and guidance to drive high performance
o Takes ownership for Talent Management processes to grow, develop and retain talents.
o Promote a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals.
o Translate the company goals into team specific actions and business plans. Control and monitor performance and results.

* Proficiency with MS applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other computer software (Internet, POS Systems, etc.)
* Fluent in English.
* An additional language is an advantage.

3. Minimum 10 years international leadership role across multi countries
4. University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
5. 15+ years multi-national Retail / WHS experience
6. 15+ years management experience
