Our client is a manufacturer and developer of battery charging and analysis technology with his head office in Vancouver/Canada. Our client is looking for a Sales and Business Development Leader with an electrical engineering background.
Main tasks:
- Sales and budget responsibility for the European, African and Middle East Market
- Constant exchange with interdisciplinary colleagues and superiors in Canada
- Project management and support in cooperation with the HQ
- Identifying market trends and continuously reporting to the HQ
- Travel activities is about (approx. 10%-30%)
- Taking over and coordinating cross-company projects and special tasks
- Order monitoring, quotation preparation, input and evaluation as well as completion of daily office activities
- Technical advice and holistic support for customers and sales partners, from needs assessment to the development of customer-specific solutions and the preparation of offers
- Developing marketing material for trade shows as well as planning the participation for trade shows and events
- Participation in congresses as a speaker to present our innovative technologies
Your Profile:
• Completed training or studies in electrical engineering
• Proven success and experience in the sale of products requiring explanation
• Ideally experience in the field of battery technology
• A network in the medical technology/military or automotive sector would be an advantage
• Experience in B2B sales
• Successful team leadership
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness as well as a confident demeanor
• Result-oriented working methods as well as strategic thinking and planning
• Analytical market observation skills
• Fluent written and spoken German and English is a prerequisite, other languages are an advantage•
Experience in creating business cases and market launch strategies•
Flexibility and willingness to travel
