Within the Hospital Care division, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on the project planning of injection molding equipment at the Melsungen site for the Manufacturing Engineering department of the B. Braun Technology Center, the internal technology service provider of the B. Braun Group, as soon as possible.
The Manufacturing Engineering department sees itself as the central engineering unit for B. Braun production sites worldwide and supports them with expertise in the planning and optimization of production equipment, including injection molding, assembly technology, automation, and sterilization.
Your Tasks:
* You plan equipment in the area of injection molding (tools, machines, and peripherals) in a timely, cost-effective, and proper manner.
* You collaborate with the internal tool shop and external suppliers, advise on the technical design of production equipment, and support your customers in all project phases.
* You are responsible for the project KPIs (time, cost, quality).
* You develop project-specific sourcing strategies in coordination with procurement.
* You also oversee the construction, commissioning, and relocation of the equipment.
* You define acceptance criteria and carry out acceptances (FAT, SAT) in coordination with the respective plants and support the validation of production equipment up to operational readiness (Start of Production).
* Additionally, you report regularly to clients, steering committees, and supervisors.
Professional Qualifications:
* You have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
* You have several years of experience in toolmaking, project management knowledge including (certified) methodological knowledge is also required.
* Knowledge in the area of tool design/simulation is also desirable.
* You also have good MS Office skills (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
* Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
