Hauptaufgaben Serves as Supply Technician for the 405th Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), United States Army Logistics Readiness Center, USA Logistics Activity Europe (405th AFSB BASEOPS), and United States Army Garrison (USAG) Bavaria in providing logistical support for activities within Vilseck, Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels and Garmisch; maintains five automated accountable records consisting of 66 Storage Locations (SLOCs) for over five directorates, and 200 permanently assigned units, divisions and sections. Accountable and responsible for property control (receive, inventory, store, issue, turn-in of property). Ensures SLOCs receipts are signed semi-annually; Analyzes data, Identify trends, and Make recommendations to the Branch Chief. Operates Logistics Information Systems (LIS) such as Global Combat Support System (GCSS-Army), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) etc. required to perform all assigned tasks. Conducts Command Supply Discipline Program evaluations. Assist the Property Book Officer or higher graded local national personnel in managing the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) against property balances for the 405th LRC, USAG Bavaria, and BASEOPS. Use Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army and other Logistics Information Systems to perform supply technician functions listed under the broad functions as such Account for Installation and TDA Property Books; Request Property, Receive Property, Store Property, Turn in Property, Assign Responsibility for Property, Create and Maintain Equipment Packages, review, sign and assign Accounting Requirement codes to Government Purchase Card requests; and post durable and non-expendable property ordered onto accounting records. Perform any other tasks not listed under the broader functions but is necessary to accomplish the mission. Performs other duties as assigned.
