Job Brief We are looking for mid level experienced Director of Operations that we would like to mould into a world class Chief Operations Officer to oversee our organizations ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the CEO''s right hand person, and responsible for ensuring his vision is put into action. The Director of Operations role is a key member of the team, reporting only to the CEO. Youll have to optimize the companys operating capabilities, maintain control of diverse business operations, manage the projects, ensure deadlines are stuck to, in many ways be the "internal CEO". We expect you to have strong interpersonal skills and to be very effective at executing projects, and to constantly strive for perfection with a kaizen and iterative mindset. We expect you to be direct and no nonsense we haven''t got the time for anything but. Areas of responsibility Taking the lead of the operative core teams such as project management, web development and marketing Evaluating and implementing strategic growth options in cooperation with the CEO Assessing and implementing further steps for IT supported process optimization Employing professional practices to build the company name while maintaining the agile start up culture Driving the companys operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals Preparing timely and accurate reports of the deliverables of the operative core teams, as well as sales performance and customer feedback Required Skills and Values Business or Operations related Bachelors degree; MSc/MBA is a plus Professional experience of at least 3 years, preferably doing management or relevant role. Ability to demonstrate competency in strategic planning, and making business developments and projections Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics, as well as IT/Business infrastructure and MS Offices Willingness to assume responsibility and demonstrate ethical leadership and strong personal integrity Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels Honest and empath
