Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Isotope Chemistry group at my clients Munich facility, overseeing laboratory operations and team development
* Drive staff expertise through training initiatives and professional development programs
* Manage resource allocation and financial performance while fostering cross-functional collaboration
* Shape strategic direction and contribute to operational decision-making
* Deliver expert consultation in isotope chemistry to clients, including problem-solving and solution development
* Oversee synthesis projects for radiolabelled APIs (non-GxP/GMP) and preclinical formulations (non-GxP/GLP) as Responsible Scientist
* Advance technological capabilities and process improvements aligned with site strategy
* Develop and review technical documentation, including service proposals, reports, and marketing materials
* Serve as radiation safety officer
* Act as external representative for scientific expertise
Required Qualifications:
* PhD in Organic Chemistry
* Minimum 5 years' experience in medicinal chemistry/organic synthesis within CRO or pharmaceutical industry
* Proven leadership experience managing teams of 3-10 people
* Extensive expertise in radiolabeled drug candidate synthesis (14C and 3H)
* Radiation safety officer certification
* Fluent in English and German (written and verbal)
* Superior organizational and analytical skills with demonstrated initiative
