Job Description:
Your main tasks:
1. Leadership of Cluster Medical Affairs Team
2. Medical/scientific leader and face of Ferring with authorities, patient organisations and external opinion leaders
3. Interaction with external scientific and clinical experts in relation to cluster, regional and global activities
4. Lead Medical operations in the ClusterOversee execution by local medical team and where appropriate provide hands onIn collaboration with cluster cross-functional teams create and implement strategic and operational plans in the cluster/country, in line with Ferring´s strategyEnable cluster/country achievement of Global Medical Affairs, regional and cluster targetsOverall responsible for resource allocation and budget control for the Medical Affairs DepartmentCompliance with GCP, SOP´s, guidelines and regulatory requirements within the countries/cluster
5. Medical/scientific Input, oversight and execution of data generation activities
6. Represent the cluster internally and provide Cluster/country input to Regional Medical Affairs Western Europe &Canada
Your qualification:
7. University Medical or Scientific degree
8. Higher life science qualification (PhD, PharmD) optional
9. Ideally Business degree (MBA)
10. Minimum 10 years experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or Biotechnology Companies
11. Significant experience in Medical Affairs, including design and oversight of clinical studies
12. At least 5 years of management or leadership experience
13. Current working knowledge of legal, regulatory and compliance regulations and guidelines
14. Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical operations
15. Preferably experience of Fertility therapy area, Gastroenterology and/or Urology
16. Fluent in written and spoken German and English

19. Familiar with industry standard tools
