What youwilldo
* Respondto product/application related local and European customerinquiries and feedback through the appropriate questioningtechniques to identify the nature of the request/complaint. Mostsupport will be given remotely, e.g. via e-mail, phone andchat.
* Advisethe appropriate sales staff of the content of product/applicationrelated customer inquiries and feedback, and theiroutcome.
* Meetwith agreed service levels, time scales and standard operatingprocedures.
* Onrequest - deliver up-to-date application training on companyproducts and their related scientific background, for sales staff,other company departments, and/orcustomers.
* Seekopportunities to convert application related inquiries into new ordeveloped sales possibilities (e.g. lead generation, up-andcross-selling and initiatingquotations).
* Maintaina high level of technical knowledge and competence on specialistsubjects, products and theirapplications.
* Establishand maintain positive and collaborative working relationships withcustomers and sales staff.
* Managescientific support information database / documentation /paperwork, prioritizing and processing this in an orderly andconsistent manner, maintaining accurate, complete and up-to-dateinformation on all technical customer requests of information andfeedback.
Whoyou are:
* LifeSciences degree, preferably PhD or equivalent experience in LifeSciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or relatedfield
* Fluent in English andGerman or French, additional European language/s isbeneficial.
* Prior scientificand laboratory experience with solid demonstrable expertise in LabFiltration products like lab scale filter papers, glass microfiberfilter, membrane filters as well as syringe filters, discs andcapsule filter, centrifugal devices, microwell filter plates,tangential flow filtration system (Cytiva Minimate™) and/orfiltration hardware.
* Desiredexperience from working with filtration of microbiology samples,environmental monitoring and immunodiagnosticsassays.
* Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills and ability to interface andinfluence at all levels in theorganization.
* Team orientedand customer focused - the ability to motivate and work well withdiverse, global and cross-functionalteams
* Willingness totravel
* EU workpermit
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein:
* GMP experience andprocessdevelopment
* Experience ofgiving scientific presentations and building and maintainingcustomerrelationships
* Maintain ahigh level of technical knowledge and competence on specialistsubjects, products and theirapplications
