Key Responsibilities
* Support global registrations, including data collection and analysis, substance volume tracking, data sharing agreements, costing, and coordination of external support.
* Represent the company’s business interests in relevant trade associations, industry groups, and scientific societies.
* Engage with government authorities to ensure the company’s goals and regulatory needs are met.
* Monitor and advise key stakeholders on emerging regulatory issues, providing timely updates and intelligence on relevant regulatory developments.
Key Requirements
* 5+ to 10 years’ work experience in a regulatory and advocacy environment, preferably in Europe.
* Strong scientific background, post-secondary education in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or a comparable technical field.
* Knowledge of relevant national/international chemical regulations (e.g., EU-REACH, Turkey-REACH, Korea-REACH, India-REACH).
* Knowledge and experience in relevant system software (IUCLID, CHESAR) and exposure assessment modeling.
* Experience in reviewing safety, efficacy, and technical information.
* Exposure to industry groups/trade associations, government authorities, and other scientific societies.
* Outstanding interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to build trusting relationships across time, distance, and cultural differences.
* A hands-on attitude, drive for results, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
* Willingness and ability to travel (including international) ~10%.
