What is the purpose of this role?
Provide advisory capacity in HR-related issues to ensure an environment that enables collaboration and innovation.
Implement regional (ESAN) initiatives and drive local initiatives and projects targeted to promote the customer-oriented, growth-focused culture in an engaging and human-centric way.
Ensure smooth HR process flow within the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding in alignment with ESAN standards.
What you’ll do:
HR Advisory
1. Be the first point of contact for employees and leaders in local HR-related matters.
2. Advise and support leaders and employees regarding HR programs, practices, and procedures.
3. Support internal recruitment and provide advisory to hiring managers in terms of selection, and offer preparations.
4. Advise leaders in ensuring team performance and retention.
5. Support leaders in the resolution of low-performance and attitude-related situations.
6. Communication and cooperation with the Workers Council in Germany.
7. To support and advise employees employed by both Germany and Austria Amway legal entities.
HR Projects and Delivery
8. Ensure local coordination of selected HR areas including but not limited to: Learning and Development, Talent Management, Onboarding, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Satisfaction, Employer Branding and Internal Communications, HR Reporting.
9. Run small ad-hoc local HR Projects.
10. Facilitate training and workshops within selected areas of expertise.
11. Cooperate with ESAN HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Team, HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure HR processes are handled efficiently and timely.
12. Partner with the ESAN Payroll & Administration team in all the steps of the employee lifecycle (onboarding, change of conditions, offboarding), maintain employees’ benefits (insurance, meal tickets).
13. Coordinate cooperation with external HR suppliers.
14. Keep employee records in HR systems up to date.
15. Manage recognition programs and initiatives.
16. Develop, prepare and present regular and ad-hoc reports.
17. Ensure compliance with existing government and labor legal requirements.
18. Support ESAN HR function in terms of projects and initiatives when required.
19. Liaises with government officials during audits and official approaches.
20. Organize local employee events/ initiatives.
Change Management and Innovation
21. Supports projects and initiatives to drive the culture of engagement both local and regional (ESAN).
22. Suggest and implement innovations within the assigned scope of responsibilities, is part of SME ESAN workstreams.
23. Continuously pursue new ideas in local and regional HR delivery.
What you’ll need:
24. Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably within an International environment, covering selected areas required within the function: HR Advisory, Recruitment, Payroll & Administration, Policy and Procedure development, etc.
25. University Degree
26. Fluent in English and German language.
27. Ability to build trust.
28. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with employees on different organizational levels.
29. Good planning skills, ability to work with tight deadlines.
30. Ability to develop and maintain ongoing and ad-hoc reporting.
31. Strong customer-driven focus.
32. Solution-oriented approach.
33. Ability to work with MS Office tools (Excel & PowerPoint – at least intermediate).
