Summary of Position:
The South East Germany and Austria regions are crucial territories where Zero Motorcycles is pushing for growth and success in all activities. In this role, your targets will consist of improving the sales network, managing the dealer and importer/distributor relationships, and creating and managing all the sale-in and sell-out support and opportunities with the intention to create a strong and reliable network that supports Zero Motorcycles in increasing market share in the focus regions. The Country Manager South East Germany and Austria is eager to take ownership of all scope areas of the role in the assigned territories.
In this role, you will interact and support our partners in the regions by facilitating the tasks of our dealers to perform their service while coaching them in their sales activities. You will provide first-tier excellent service to our dealers, work closely with our PR agencies, and ensure that sales and marketing activities in the region are organized and performed in the most efficient and successful way possible.
You will be working from your home office, spending most of your time on the road (approximately 2 days in the office and 3 days in the field), attending sales/marketing events, meeting your dealers, and building on your network. For 5% of your time, we expect you to join weekly meetings and bilas with your direct manager (these percentages are an estimation and subject to adjustment). There are many activities during weekends where you will be expected to participate; some are standard and seasonally planned, while others will be scheduled ad hoc.
In your position, you are responsible for achieving planned sales & marketing targets and activities. You will report to CM DACH with a dotted line to VP&MD EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Scope:
* Represent Zero Motorcycles in business activities in your region.
* Manage the complete sales planning, ordering & delivery process for the dealers in your region.
* Build, extend, and maintain the dealer network to the level agreed upon and based on business targets.
* Report regularly on business progress to the CM DACH.
* Develop Fleet business, increasing engagement with governmental entities focusing on fleet sales. Ensure documentation, coordination, and long-term relationships.
* Support and steer the local B2B partner to be successful in managing governmental fleet opportunities.
* Support your dealers and distributors in all activities in an engaging manner, ensuring clarity on processes, ways of working, campaigns, and investing in long-term business relationships.
* Join all sales meetings.
* Participate and drive ongoing product training, news, changes, and procedure improvements.
* Provide weekly and monthly forecasts on wholesales and retail sales.
* Develop plans/promotions to stimulate wholesales and limit dealer stock (sell-through).
* Work closely with our field service engineers.
Marketing Scope:
* Implement marketing campaigns in accordance with central EMEA marketing plans with a special focus on the assigned market. Responsibilities include evaluating dealer needs, campaign implementation, controlling brand presence, and working with the marketing team to ensure that marketing activities are accurate and supportive of sales objectives.
* Coordinate local marketing activities and monitor their execution.
* Collect weekly marketing reports.
* Liaise with local PR agency (where applicable).
* Partner with third-party agencies to execute events or other locally identified activities.
* Together with the HQ Marketing and local marketing agency, oversee and decide on all marketing activities.
* Maintain a premium presentation of the brand: logo usage, signage, and other POS materials.
* Monitor Zero’s presence on social media (Facebook) and propose posts of regional interest.
* Occasionally check translations received from agencies.
* Participate in events/shows.
* Initiate content creation to support sales promotions.
* Deliver social media content to dealers.
* Initiate text/content for monthly newsletters.
Skills and Attributes
* Fluently (C2 level) in German, English, and preferably other European languages.
* Excellent sales and marketing skills.

* Able to devise, maintain, and execute (sales & marketing) strategies for the Iberian and other regions under your scope.

* Must be physically able to travel for at least 75% of your work time and approximately 20 weekends per year.
