Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager Cyber Security & KRITIS to lead their cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with KRITIS (Critical Infrastructure) regulations. This role involves overseeing security operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance while implementing robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect critical systems and data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with KRITIS regulations and industry best practices.
* Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response programs.
* Oversee the design and deployment of security architectures for critical infrastructure protection.
* Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing leadership, training, and development.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to ensure security governance.
* Monitor emerging threats and implement proactive measures to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
* Develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategies to enhance resilience.
* Conduct cybersecurity awareness training and drive a culture of security within the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Strong understanding of KRITIS regulations, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2 Directive, and ISO 27001.
* Hands-on experience with security frameworks, risk management, and compliance auditing.
* Expertise in network security, threat intelligence, and incident management.
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluency in German and English.
