Job Summary
• Responsibility for our development projects for purchased parts, laboratory automation and services from external partners/suppliers
Responsibilities
1. Preparation of project sourcing plans and coordination of all purchasing-related activities
2. Management of project progress and responsibility for compliance with project-specific milestones, taking into account the target costs (design-to-cost) as well as the requirements for technology, quality and logistics
3. Preparation of offer requests and comparisons, including contract negotiations
• Make-or-buy considerations as well as technical evaluation of customer/project requirements
• Participation in the selection, qualification, development and evaluation of suppliers as well as in the selection of new purchased components
• Participation in the definition of requirements for a supplier base in line with the market
Basic Qualifications
• Completed technical studies, alternative technical vocational training or a comparable qualification
• Relevant practical experience in project purchasing or technical purchasing
• Very good technical understanding as well as a high affinity for project management and purchasing matters
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Confident handling of MS Office programs and ERP systems
• Analytical and conceptual skills combined with negotiation skills, assertiveness and strong communication skills
