1. Team Management: Oversee and assist a team of aircraft maintenance technicians, ensuring that work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.
2. Facility Management: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the hangar, ensuring all tools, equipment, and aircraft are stored properly and securely.
3. FAA A&P Certificate OR FCC License (Elements 1 and 3) will be required to work in Germany.
4. Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience is Required.
5. A valid (FAA) A&P certificate with a Min of Five (5) years’ experience working on assigned Mission Design Series UH-60, AH-64, CH-47 (MDS) aircraft is Required.
6. US Citizenship is Required to obtain the Security Clearance and for facility access and authorization.
7. Inventory Control: Manage the inventory of parts, tools, and supplies, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure necessary items are available.
8. Mentorship & Training: Provide guidance, training, and support to technicians to develop their skills and ensure continuous improvement.
9. Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews, address any personnel issues, and encourage a positive work environment, ensuring safety is prioritized
10. Coordination: Plan and oversee all maintenance activities, including routine checks, repairs, overhauls, and unscheduled maintenance.
11. Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with government regulations or other relevant regulatory bodies, as well as company policies and procedures.
12. Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of maintenance records, logs, and reports are completed daily.
13. Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols within the hangar(s), conducting regular safety briefings and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
14. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations meet regulatory requirements and company policies, including environmental and occupational safety regulations.
15. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Logistics, Back shops, Flight Operations to coordinate maintenance needs.
16. Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on hangar operations, maintenance activities, and team performance to the Maintenance Manager and Site Manager.
17. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related issues within the hangar, ensuring clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
18. Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement within maintenance processes and workflows, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
19. Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements for Hiring Consideration:
20. High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
21. FAA A&P Certificate OR FCC License (Elements 1 and 3) will be required to work in Germany.
22. Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience is Required. (UH-60, AH-64, CH-47).
23. A valid (FAA) A&P certificate with a Min of Five (5) years’ experience working on assigned Mission Design Series UH60, AH64, CH47 (MDS) aircraft is Required.
24. Without Valid (A&P) and with a valid FCC License with (Elements 1 and 3) Eight (8) years’ experience as an Aircraft mechanic is Required on the Mission Design Series UH60, AH64, CH47 (MDS) airframe.
25. Valid US Passport required for deployment to Germany.
26. Must be able to obtain and maintain a NAC-I T1 Public Trust (Security Clearance). US Citizenship is required to obtain a Clearance, and for facility credentials/authorization for access to work at this location.
27. Interim NACI must be approved prior to start date and Deployment.
Germany Specific Requirements :
28. TESA Approval Required: Must be able to qualify for TESA approval; must have over 5 years career total Aviation maintenance experience.
29. Must be US Citizen. Must have a current and valid US Passport.
Additional and Preferred Requirements:
30. Shall have in-depth understanding of maintenance practices, procedures, and techniques for various types of aircraft.
31. Knowledge of quality control and assurance processes to ensure maintenance work meets the highest standards.
32. Proficient in the use of maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical drawings, and other related documentation.
33. Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and standards related to aircraft maintenance and hangar operations.
34. Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and environmental protection guidelines.
35. Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including airframe, powerplant, avionics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
36. Shall have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
37. Shall have a working knowledge of making entries in aircraft logbooks & records, military technical publications, utilizing the Army's Logistics Information System (ACN, ULLS-A).
38. military technical school or specialized training course is desired.
39. Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
40. Ability to delegate tasks effectively, manage team dynamics, and handle personnel issues.
41. High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in maintenance tasks, documentation, and compliance with safety standards.
