Boehringer Ingelheim is looking for a proactive Senior Manager Facility Management (FM) Risk & Compliance to bolster our global FM operations. Your mission: to oversee regulatory and procedural compliance frameworks, develop effective procedures, and use metrics to track compliance status and trends. You'll ensure risks are managed across the FM organization globally, act as a liaison between Global Facilities & Engineering compliance function and FM regions, and foster positive compliance behaviors. Tasks & responsibilities - As the architect of compliance, you'll design and implement a global compliance framework for the FM function. Your expertise will ensure the development of appropriate compliance training programs, and you'll oversee or directly implement training. - Diving into the world of metrics, you'll develop and implement global metrics that track and trend compliance performance for the function. Your collaboration with Regional FM stakeholders and the global Portfolio Management team will be crucial in this task. - Embracing simplicity, you'll identify initiatives to reduce the complexity associated with compliance for the FM function. Your leadership will steer these simplification initiatives, promoting overall simplicity and efficiency related to compliance activities. - As a compliance watch guard, you'll work with other existing Compliance and Legislative functions within Boehringer and within Global Facilities and Engineering to ensure that the Function remains up to date on compliance requirements. Your excellent communication skills will be key in relaying changes to the FM network. - Building bridges within the organization, you'll develop a network within the FM community that proactively supports compliance activities. Your role will include identifying or implementing best practices and supporting behavioral programs. - Mastering risk management, you'll develop an appropriate risk management framework for the function globally. Your leadership will drive the implementation of the annual and project risk management cycle, working with regions and key sites to identify their risks and follow the mitigation plans. Your role will ensure that FM is proactively managing its compliance risk in relation to GxP activities, predominantly for cleaning and pest control. Requirements - University degree at Master level in a scientific or environmental field, enriched by other relevant qualifications; alternatively Bachelor's degree with a wealth of practical experience in relevant field - Demonstrated familiarity with risk and compliance management in the FM environment, with a track record of implementing management frameworks and compliance monitoring on a global scale - Global mindset, with excellent cross-functional communication skills, appreciation for diversity, and the ability to deliver against tight timelines in ambiguous environments. Proven ability to work within a matrix environment is key. - Team player with a knack for governing projects, whether self-delivered or delivered through others, and a willingness to travel as needed - Special skills include a robust understanding of GxP requirements relating to FM services, a deep understanding of FM services at the ground level, and an enthusiastic and engaging approach to gather functional commitment to important topics - Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with German language skills being an advantage, coupled with exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ready to contact us?
