Who We Are
As the Economic and Financial Consulting (EFC) practice, we support our clients as independent experts in managing complex disputes and advising on transformation processes and strategic decisions.
Through our compelling analyses of economic relationships, we have become the global market leader in this field.
We provide independent valuations of companies, business shares, and intangible assets in all situations where a solid valuation is needed. We assist our clients, courts, and arbitration panels in resolving disputes within litigation, arbitration, or mediation procedures. Another key area of our work is valuing companies and intangible assets during change processes or as part of risk management. Our interdisciplinary team includes economists, auditors, valuation experts, MBAs, statisticians, and econometricians. We work on diverse and challenging assignments across a wide range of industries—from "Old Economy" to innovative business models such as NewSpace or AI companies. We collaborate with international law firms, global corporations, DAX and mid-sized companies, private equity funds, and family offices, and also work with authorities or prosecutors.
Our Economic and Financial Consulting team is based in Frankfurt.

* We advised the board of a company on how to position itself in negotiations with a departing shareholder from a joint venture, evaluating the value of the business shares and contractual agreements.
* We were engaged to quantify the expected damages in a looming trademark infringement case involving a well-known consumer goods brand.
* We provided a fairness opinion in the acquisition of a promising biotech company by a private equity fund.
