We are expanding our portfolio to include cutting-edge data centre development projects and are therefore seeking experienced data centre professionals. Goodman is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager (QAQC) (based in Frankfurt) to join our expanding Data Centre project team. As the Client-Side Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager (QAQC), you will oversee and manage all quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) processes for the construction of data centre projects. Working closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, you will ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards, meets specifications, and adheres to both industry and client requirements. Your role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of these mission-critical facilities. Key Responsibilities: Quality & risk management: Create tender documentation and review inputs from tender participants; participate in final contractual documentation. Oversee the development and implementation of project-specific QAQC plans to ensure compliance with all project and regulatory requirements. Identify quality risks related to design, materials, and installation, and implement mitigation measures. Reporting and Documentation management: Oversee the preparation and review of all quality documentation, including Inspection Test Plans, checklists, quality procedures, and method statements. Ensure that all QAQC documentation is compiled and completed for the final handover process, including certifications, warranties, and as-built documentation. Track and report on key performance indicators, highlighting any deviations from targets, and develop effective mitigation strategies. Provide timely, accurate, and consistent QAQC progress and status reports to the Project Lead and other relevant stakeholders. Contribute to the company’s reporting needs by providing necessary QAQC data and narratives. Inspection and audit Monitor on-site construction activities, including inspections and tests, to ensure that materials and workmanship conform to design specifications and standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project quality management plans, local codes, and international standards. Coordinates the quality inspections with GC, sub-contractors and vendors. Coordinates with the tenant representative on all quality matters. Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of quality management systems, international quality standards (ISO 9001), and industry-specific codes for data centre construction. Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ISO 9001 Auditor, or similar qualifications are preferred Significant experience (minimum 8 years) in delivering general contractor or developer roles for Data Centre Development projects and in quality management roles (minimum 10 years) on major projects or in industrial sectors such as nuclear and aeronautics. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project teams, contractors, and clients. Strong leadership with a proven ability to lead QAQC teams and manage contractor relationships.
