This position is for the development of Vitesco owned ASICs and Functional Semiconductor Blocks.

Your new responsibilities:
1. Development of Vitesco owned ASICs ( PMICs with safety monitoring, BLDC-drivers, IGBT drivers for electric drives, solenoid drivers)
2. Close cooperation with the semiconductor suppliers in a leading role, especially regarding design. Detailed delving into design (incl. layout), simulation results and test results
3. Simulation (System- and schematics simulation) for concept development and design verification
4. Support of the module and application departments (worldwide) to apply the ASICs
5. Designing of IP-Sub-blocks for a Vitesco owned ASIC block library
6. Close cooperation with silicon foundries ( GlobalFoundries, TSMC …) for exclusive Vitesco ASICs
7. Development for new concepts to reduce time to market
Your profile:
8. Academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
9. Long-time professional experience in analog/mixed signal design in different areas (Schematic, simulation, back annotation, design for test) preferably in automotive field
10. Long-term project experience, especially related to ASIC Design
11. In-depth knowledge and experience regarding semiconductor processes ( GF, TSMC, …)
12. First functional leading experience desirable
13. Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English language, German appreciated
14. Good communication skills and ability to work in intercultural teams, personal initiative, high engagement
