What you´ll do
We are looking for a student to support the ISBN Team within Digital Sales Development activities in MEE. Digital Sales Development plays a critical role in the sales process with the focus to generate new qualified pipeline for closure by sales executives and partners. The working student will support a broad range of activities – from supporting demand generation activities, executing proactive outbound campaigns and applying digital sales methods.
As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate a high degree of personal responsibility and flexibility. You are an out-of-the-box thinker with a creative mind, motivated and you can easily familiarize yourself with new, innovative topics. The following tasks & opportunities await you in this role:
* Supporting proactive outbound campaigns and follow-up incoming marketing leads to nurture and convert them into high quality business opportunities
* Applying digital sales methods like digital prospecting, video communication and social listening & selling to generate interest and qualify customer business needs
* Developing product expertise to generate customer interest and understanding business needs quickly
* Supporting Demand Generation activities like pipeline meetings, pipeline creation, win/loss analysis, etc. (Cold calling, Outreach etc.)
What you bring
* Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
* Preferred fields of study: Business administration, Economics, Procurement and Supply Chain, Business Informatics or comparable fields of study
* Computer skills: MS Office Professional (especially pptx and xlsx)
* Language skills: Excellent German and fluent English skills (both spoken and written)
* Soft skills: Open-minded personality and a thorough, results-oriented approach to problem solving, team-orientation, creativity and flexibility, ability to work independently, fast learner with an eye for detail
* Others:
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, experience with platforms like LinkedIn or Outreach would be a plus
* Procurement knowledge or familiarity with procurement processes is an advantage
* Prior work experience in related field is an advantage
Meet your Team
The ISBN COO Team in MEE is running strategic initiatives to support the Procurement Sales teams in the different market units together with Presales, Value Advisory and Business Development, and partners with other cross-functional teams to execute the programs and change initiatives that are crucial for our business. In addition, you will be part of the Sales Development Student Taskforce, where you can learn and work together with students from the Middle and Eastern European region.
Our goal is to acquire new customers and to break new ground with existing customers. By selling our market-leading cloud solutions, it is our task to support the vision of SAP, to help customers in their transformation to a digital world and to position themselves flexibly for the future and the challenges faced by the market today.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
