As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for further developing and optimizing our current business models, structures, and systems to align the business with future-oriented goals.
In particular, you will
* independently manage international projects and tenders from the start of the tendering process to the submission of the offer to the presentation on site and final negotiation while successfully navigating the internal interfaces and external service providers
* develop strategies for markets, channels and business models and initialize business opportunities through market presence, representation at conferences and the development of business relationships with potential partners
* create and present status and decision papers for sales management and the executive board
* subsequently analyse the success of the project and create corresponding project documentation
* analyse and monitor trends within and outside the travel retail market
Preferred Profile
* Successfully completed master's degree in business administration and many years of sound professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in an international retail environment
* Strong experience in (agile) project management and in managing international projects
* Good knowledge of tendering processes including the legal basis
* The ability to successfully manage various interfaces in international and cross-departmental collaboration and the commitment to proactively initiate and drive change
* Very good knowledge of the MS Office package and experience with common project management software
