Job Overview
The EMEA Senior Regional Product Manager (m/w/d) will oversee the region strategy, launch of new products and deployment in the countries/regions. S/he will be accountable for the business division P&L in her/his zone and leading Regional Strategy development and Field Application Engineering initiatives. S/he will bring a growth-oriented mind-set, excellent commercial acumen and leadership experience, and a hands-on leadership style into the team. The role will appeal to those with aspirations for further personal and career growth as the company seeks to enhance the overall bench-strength for succession for the role of Director of Product Management and Commercial team of the Industrial business unit. The successful candidate will be part of the Product Management team and will report to the Director of Product Management and Commercial strategy.
1. Develop Regional Growth Strategy and Execution Plans
• You and your team are the "One face” of the business to the sales teams in the regions – drive regular and ongoing interlocks meetings with the local sales team and customers
• Define resource requirements necessary to execute SAM expansion in the region
• Work effectively with the Global Product Management teams to drive execution of the product line strategies in the assigned regions including defining, preparing, and deploying the commercial release of products in one or several regions
• Closely work with the sales organization to define must wins, share gains programs, and drive empowerment that accelerates speed and responsiveness while jointly executing GTM strategies
• Establish and develop close relationships and intimacy with key customers and focus distributors to drive growth in the region
• Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape and contribute roadmap strategy to product management team
• Act as the “ambassador” of customers and distributors (VOC) in the product management team for the assigned region to help develop strategies to meet/exceed market and customers’ needs
2. Drive Profitable Growth
• Own and ensure financial execution for the regional P&L including bookings, billings, gross margin, and operational expenses needed to support product-line growth
• Accountable for S&OP, including forecast accuracy
• Closely work with sales to drive pipeline and conversion for the assigned region with key focus in growing the product lines based on portfolio strategy and value drivers such as focus applications and omni-channel
• Manage the countries commitments on the growth actions deployment and business objectives
• Execute pricing policies as defined by the global product management group
• Track progress to the business plan and drive mitigation to gaps together with the Global Product Managers
3. Talent Management
• Create a high-performing team by setting a high standard, active coaching, and selective talent upgrades. Empower and develop team through thoughtful delegation and empowerment
• Develop stars in the teams and build solid succession for him/herself and for each critical member of the team
• Create / inspire a humble, learning and growth oriented, and continuous improvement mindset and culture in the team

What your background should look like:
• College Degree in engineering, business or similar
• Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience is a must
• 10+ years of in one of the business leadership roles such as operational marketing, Product management, Segment Marketing management or similar
• People management experience (teams of 5+)
• English fluency a must, other languages (French, German, Spanish) are a nice to have
• Strong commercial and marketing skills, including ability to derive insights from VOC
• Familiarity and experience leveraging a commercial tool kit, VOC, Market Segmentation, Strategic Pricing, Messaging etc.
• Proven ability to build strong partnerships with customers and distributors
• The ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals
• Experience influencing others and developing capabilities in teams
• Demonstrated evidence of success in both direct line leadership and highly matrixed global environment
• Deep working knowledge of Industrial product markets, including how to leverage the distribution channel to drive growth. Direct experience in EMEA market is critical
• A track record of developing business strategies and driving top and bottom-line financial results
• Strong commercial skills and the proven ability to build strong partnerships with customers and distributors
• Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
