Goal of Function:
The Senior Marketing Excellence Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of marketing excellence initiatives across the organization. This role is essential for driving operational efficiency, supporting strategic alignment, and ensuring effective integration of global strategies with local execution. The Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance commercial excellence processes and lead to the successful execution of marketing excellence projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading cross-functional projects teams and managing steering committee meetings as well as supporting department strategy development.
* Create and manage project plans for strategic marketing initiatives, marketing excellence projects, and process improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
* Co-creation and management of governance frameworks to ensure effective project execution.
* Work closely with external & internal stakeholders like product development, marketing, sales, medical, legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate with (senior) project managers to manage and execute projects successfully.
* Monitor and track project progress, ensuring milestones are met and project schedules are maintained.
* Implement and maintain processes for continuous risk assessment and improvement.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, providing insights into project performance and strategic recommendations.
* Solicit feedback from stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and incorporate feedback into project plans.
What we expect from you?
* Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field and approx. 6-8 years of experience in a relevant area of responsibility.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Manager in a product development or launch environment. Project management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, PMI) are a plus.
* Strong understanding of project management, product launch principles, methodologies, and tools, preferably in the Medical Device industry.
* Strategic thinker with strong decision-making abilities under changing conditions or conflicting requirements & a getting-things-done mentality are highly desired.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize and analyze data effectively.
* High social competence with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams as well as resilient and adaptable in times of uncertainty and change.
* Understanding of strategic marketing processes in the product life cycle.
* Knowledge of MedTech regulatory boundaries are highly welcome.
* Strong commercial mindset with a focus on customer and sales needs.
* Fluent in the country language and English (presenting, writing, reading); additional languages are an asset.
* Willingness to travel and work in an international environment with international standards.
