Join us as a Lab Director for the Automotive Electric Control Technology (m/f/d) Your mission Guide the research direction of automotive electric control technologies, taking the lead in forward-looking technology research. Break through key challenges in technology industrialization through major theoretical, technical, or engineering innovations, and support continuous leadership in product competitiveness. Lead participation in key EU projects, expand technical cooperation with mainstream research institutions, and communicate with key customers and industry partners to ensure Huawei's integration into the European research ecosystem and build influence. Have a keen insight into industry dynamics and develop reasonable research strategies. Promote breakthroughs in vehicle dynamics, vehicle motion control, and drivetrain technologies. Expand patent layout and support the business success of Huawei's associated industries. Manage local teams across multiple business modules, motivate members, and build high-performance teams. Analyze hardware, algorithm requirements, architecture design, and detailed design based on system function requirements and architecture design. Be responsible for drivetrain technology (improving automotive inverter and drivetrain system competitiveness), hardware and mechanical design and optimization of brake systems (including actuators, etc.), vehicle stability control, and control strategy and control algorithm of the chassis brake system (torque vectoring algorithm, traction control, electronic stability program, coordinated regenerative braking control algorithm, etc.), modeling, and optimization. Lead drivetrain system concept proposals, function development, performance matching, part specification, calibration strategies, objective and subjective assessments. Lead brake-by-wire technical insight, concept analysis, function definition, system development and modeling, software development, function integration, and testing. Your areas of expertise Hold a Master's degree or above in one of the following fields: vehicle, mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering, automation, or any other related field. Have profound experience in the drivetrain and brake system domain, with cutting-edge influence in the industry in one or more directions, such as power electronics, drivetrain, braking system, and vehicle dynamics. Be familiar with EPS, ESC, torque vectoring, and chassis integrated control algorithms. Demonstrate strong expertise in drivetrain development, vehicle body stability, or torque vectoring (ESC and EPS algorithms), with experience in more than 2 mass production products. Proficiently use Matlab/Simulink and CarSim/IPG CarMaker/Catia for modeling and simulation, code generation, and possess the capability of model-based development (MBD). Exhibit strong technical influence and good connectivity in international research, standards, or academic organizations. Have a global and strategic vision, along with cross-cultural communication and coordination capabilities. Have a certain understanding of the industry and the ability to formulate corresponding technical strategies according to industry trends and requirements.
