As our Customers Service/Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating revenue and maintaining strong customer relationships within the industry. You will be responsible for selling logistics services, managing customer inquiries and coordinating shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Furthermore you will provide the customer rates and prices for his business, you will be the daily partner and face to our customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Target potential customers, develop and maintain a customer database and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective customers.
2. Serve as a primary point of contact for existing clients, address customer inquiries promptly and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
3. Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensure accurate and timely delivery, monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
4. Maintain accurate record of sales, customer interactions and revenue
5. Generate regular sales reports and forecasts.
6. Stay updated on industry trends & competitors and identify opportunities of improvement and expansion
Skills & Qualifications:
7. Proven experience in operations as a fundament of customer service and pricing tasks
8. Proven experience in sales in the logistics industry
9. Proficiency in using CRMand TMS software and other relevant tools
10. Detail oriented with excellent organizational abilities
11. Knowledge of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management
12. Excellent communication skills when it comes to handling customers and a good command in English and German
