The Sales Manager (MM) (International) is responsible for motivating and coaching a team of Account Executive and Account Managers ensuring that they exceed segment KPIs and ARR targets on a consistent basis and that the segments they manage deliver their revenue goal for the month, quarter and year.
Responsibilities:
1. Mentor and coach a team of Account Executive and Account Managers to exceed segment KPIs and ARR targets.
2. Monitor the statistics for the Account Executive and Account Managers within the assigned Area and identify any discrepancies in reporting.
3. Support sales team by assisting with deal negotiations, objection handling and closing.
4. Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with sales teams to discuss deal constructs, ensure proper account and lead follow up and accurate forecasting and staging.
5. Identify areas of improvement within the sales team and suggest training to increase production.
6. Be the first line of support to teams to answer questions and direct on best practices.
7. Collaborate with the Director of the Area to discuss Area specific sales strategies, review KPI performance and refine processes and programs to achieve operational excellence.
8. Conduct role play drills with potential sales candidates to assist in building a world class sales team, if needed.
9. Cooperate with People Operations to manage all HR-related issues within your team e.g. interviewing new candidates, helping with career development for high potential employees, and managing average and low performers.
Minimum Qualifications:
10. Minimum 3 years Small-Medium and/or Mid-Market sales experience required
11. Previous people management experience, desirable
12. Bachelor degree or equivalent higher education experience, desirable
13. Experience collaborating with Partner businesses and Channel sales teams, desirable
14. Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the IT, Security or Cybersecurity industry, desirable
15. Experience with Salesforce, a plus
16. Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
17. Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
18. Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
19. Strong verbal and written communications
20. Excellent time management and organization skills
21. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
22. Infectious positive, can-do attitude
23. Possess strong negotiation experience and strategies
24. Ability to provide productive feedback and coaching to sales teams
