About the role
We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset and be able to work collaboratively with our finance team to support our business operations. As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will be working under the guidance of senior financial professionals, you will be responsible for assisting in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis to support decision-making processes
Your Responsibilities
* Maintain and organize financial data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Use financial software and tools to extract and analyze data
* Prepare financial and management reports for management review. Summarize and communicate key financial information, variances, and trends. Contribute to the development of dashboards and other tools for effective financial and management reporting
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant information, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial projections
* Build and update financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making processes
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations, to gather information and insights that contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial position
* Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide support to senior financial analysts and management as needed. Respond to inquiries and provide insights into financial performance
* Supporting internal process optimization
Your Profile
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
* 2+ years of professional experience in the area of bookkeeping, financial accounting, or management accounting. Ideally, with training as an accountant, bookkeeper, or equivalent qualification
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques is a plus
