• Organization and management of the Manufacturing Engineering - Molding team
• Management and motivation of employees
• Calculation of considerations (calculations) when optimizing assembly processes
• Collaboration and communication with assembly departments, support in assembly processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient assembly operations
• Scientific Molding Process Specialist
• Cycle Time Reduction/Optimisation, OEE increment
• Validating results of Simulation vs. reality (Tool Digital Twin)
• Procurement and development of B-Sample-production equipment and parts, including 3D Printing, machining, soft tooling, and Prototyping
• Improving TTM by Agile collaboration between all stake holders. Focus on reducing time between G3 and G4
• Conducting product qualification using Scientific Injection molding & 53P process validation
• Knowledge of ISO GPS /GD&T ANSI Y14.5 and basic Metrology methods
• Detailed Product Design and Concept studies
• Design for Manufacturing - Injection Molds
• Implementation of PFMEAs
• Documenting manufacturing processes, especially in injection molding process
• Working globally to optimise NPI processes
• Target to reduce TTM by half for molding tools
• Facilitating the clarification of technical requirements from a manufacturing standpoint entails seamless collaboration between customer engineering and internal product engineers
• Preparation of RFQ documents /specifications for serial tools
• B Sample parts sampling and Testing
• Close exchange with the CoE and Product Engineering and Product Management departments
• Defining & optimizing injection molding processes for new product development
What your background should look like:
• Successfully completed degree in a technical field, ideally mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable, e.g. mechanical engineering technician or master craftsman
• Several years of professional experience (>8 years) in the field of process planning/optimization
• Solid knowledge and technical understanding of the product development process and production process
• Experience in the analysis, conceptual design and optimization of processes
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Experienced in using SAP and IT, MS Office skills
• Sense of responsibility and very good communication skills
• Independent working style and initiative, even beyond one's own area of responsibility
• Personally, you are characterized by high precision, accuracy, willingness to perform, ability to work in a team and customer orientation
