The role will lead the procurement and contract management team during construction phase of a major offshore wind farm project.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Procurement team, allocate work and monitor performanceDefine and implement procurement and contract management processesRepresent procurement function in project finance and commercial mattersEnsure procurement teams cooperation and communication with package management teamCo-ordinaate with legal team on resource and support requirementsEnsuring procurement guidelines and processes are followed by project teamTasks:Manage procurement and contract related interfaces and activitiesContinuous cooperation with other work streams, packages and other departmentsMonitor procurement and contract time schedules and timelinesSupport contract managers in supplier negotiations in procurement, contract management and claims resolutionFacilitate cooperation/coordination between Package managers and Contract ManagersCo-ordinate preparation of the contracts and agreements drafts Ensure good practice and compliance measures are adhered to throughout contract procurement and executionSupport Contract Managers in contracts negotiation and initial escalationEnsure the use procurement process to drive most economically advantageous outcomes Ensuring processes are defined and utilised for conducting tender evaluation process with Package managersEnsuring processes are defined and utilised for conducting commercial evaluationsAllocate responsibilities to Contract ManagersEvaluate performance of Contract Managers and support them to achieve goalsMonitor and report the project exposure to commodity market pricing changesMonitor and report the projects commitment and liabilitiesReport summary of package progress and status of claimsEnsure use of Contract trackers to plan and monitor execution of contractsWork with legal team to support contract execution queries and disputesKey Deliverables:Contract status recording and reportingProject level procurement and contract management processesProcurement management planContract management planKnowledge sharingQualifications and experience Significant experience within a procurement role in the offshore wind industryExperience as a procurement lead role in a major offshore wind projectExperience of negotiating, managing contracts and disputesWillingness to travel bi weekly is requiredFluency in English is requiredWhat’s In It for You: Our employees are the driving force behind our achievements.
