Key Responsibilities
10. Lead, manage and scale the Payroll Operations team.
11. Provide them with guidance and mentorship and hold them accountable.
12. Act as a partner, enabler and coach to people leaders throughout the organization.
13. You will own the complete payroll function, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country specific government regulations.
14. Serve as a point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on all payroll related matters.
15. In collaboration with the Senior Payroll Leadership team, identify and implement strategies and initiatives aligned with business values and objectives to support the payroll organisation in achieving its goals.
16. Act as a thought partner and soundboard to People Managers in organisational planning and team management.
17. Drive organizational change within payroll, leverage data and analytics to evolve programs, and ensure that Remote is providing world-class payroll experiences.
18. Exhibit a growth mindset with a high level of emotional intelligence in daily work and your own professional development.
19. Be up to date with various international payroll laws / regulations.
20. Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies and procedures.
21. Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators and SLA metrics for the team.

The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
