YOUR TASKS
The Senior Professional is responsible for the organization, execution, and control of equipment inspections at EAT Leipzig. They are responsible for tools, large tools, lifting equipment, equipment, vehicles, personal protective equipment (PSA), and GSE inspections. Additionally, they inspect equipment in the Development Infrastructure area. This ensures that Aircraft Maintenance has functional and legally compliant equipment available.
* Independent organization, execution, and control of the inspection process for the GSE, Tooling, and Infrastructure departments
* Establishing timelines for each task and monitoring their progress, taking corrective actions if deadlines are not met
* Coordination with the departments regarding the execution of equipment inspections
* Monitoring the reporting chains in the process flow of equipment inspections
* Active control of monthly inspection orders
* Issuance of legally required certificates
* Inspection of torque tools, calibration of pressure gauges
* Cross-departmental coordination, control, and quality assurance in the performance of professional tasks
* Coordination with the HSE department to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations
* Participation in cross-functional projects
YOUR PROFILE
* Specialized vocational training or extensive relevant work experience in a craft or related profession
* Experience as a qualified person
* Minimum of four years of work experience as a qualified person in the Tooling or GSE field at EAT Leipzig
* Experience in using Boeing and Airbus manuals, particularly in the maintenance and tools area
* Good knowledge of MS Office, TRAX, and AMOS
* Excellent German language skills
* Excellent English language skills
* Organizational skills, teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently
* Qualified person for the inspection of aviation ground equipment
* Qualified person for shelf inspections
* Qualified person for ladder and step inspections
* Qualified person for lifting equipment/load handling inspections
* Qualified person for the inspection of personal protective equipment (PSA)
