To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our Electrified Propulsion Development division an (Sr.) Engineer Charging Performance Development and Validation (M/F/D) Validation of HMG EVs charging performance & efficiency capabilities at different ambient temperatures. Test results data Analysis with a focus on HMG 400/800V performance optimization areas. Scouting and evaluation of competitors charging performance approaches and strong points. Supporting development and validation of new charging functions that affect charging performance and efficiency. New proposal for performance/efficiency analysis and effect on the state of health (charging paths, V2X usage, etc…). Supporting validation of Interoperability and compatibility validation activities. Evaluation of advanced Charging technologies. Project planning whilst ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources, and timeframe. Close cooperation within HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea). Bachelor /Master Degree in electric/ mechanical/ automotive engineering – Experience in xEV tech. is a plus. Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem-solving mentality. A very good command of English, and intercultural & communication skills. Deep knowledge and understanding of charging standards (DIN, ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20,etc… ) is a plus. Experience in the usage of software such as CANOe, INCA, CAN network simulation (CAPL), and monitoring. Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends. Proficient in presenting, reporting, and handling Microsoft Office suite and project management tools. Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B.
