Job description:
* Machine and Process Design: Planning and design of machines, as well as defining technical requirements and performance parameters for nonwoven fabric systems tailored to customer needs.
* Technological Commissioning: Execution and monitoring of commissioning processes, ensuring performance requirements are met and carrying out acceptance tests on-site with the customer.
* Customer Trials: Planning and conducting trials in close collaboration with customers at the company’s own technology and testing centre to best meet product requirements.
* Process Analysis and Documentation: Recording, analysing, and documenting process parameters and laboratory results to ensure quality standards and advance process control.
* Support in Machine Development: Collaborating with the development team to improve and develop new machines for nonwoven fabric production.
* Project Management and Coordination: Leading development projects and coordinating interfaces between mechanical engineering, production, and sales.
* Sales Support: Providing technical assistance in sales projects, participating in customer meetings, and presenting at trade fairs to promote products and processes.
* Innovation Development: Continuous optimisation and development of new processes for web formation and consolidation to meet market demands and secure a competitive edge in innovation.
Requirements Profile:
* Education: Completed degree (Bachlor or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or Textile Technology.
* Professional Experience: Several years of experience in machine and process development, particularly in the field of needle felts and nonwovens.
* Technical Understanding: In-depth knowledge of nonwoven technology, as well as relevant machines and processes.
* Willingness to Travel: High willingness to travel globally to support customer projects on-site.
* Communication Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for process optimisation and the development of new methods.
* Commitment: Independent and responsible working style, with the ability to achieve good results even in a dynamic environment.
* Language Skills: Proficient in German (C1) and English (C1), with additional languages being desirable.
